Final Video of the #PortlandSeries Now Live Featuring Laura Veirs

Ear Trumpet Labs + The Bluegrass Situation present Final Video of the #PortlandSeries Now Live Featuring Laura Veirs

Fans Can Vote On Their Favorite Video for a Chance to Win an Edwina Microphone from Ear Trumpet Labs

March 15, 2016, PORTLAND, OR...American-made microphone company, Ear Trumpet Labs (ETL), and premier roots music and lifestyle hub, The Bluegrass Situation, announce the debut of the final video of the #PortlandSeries featuring singer/songwriter Laura Veirs, as well as a contest for a chance to win an ETL Edwina microphone. Set in picturesque Portland, the workshop headquarters of ETL, the Portland Series has featured acclaimed roots and folk artists such as Billy Strings and Don Julin, Annalisa Tornfelt and Dom Flemons.

The latest video showcases Veirs performing “July Flame” the haunting title track from her seventh studio album released on her own label, Raven Marching Band, in January 2010. Produced with her husband, Tucker Martine, the album was a departure from her full band material, offering stripped down arrangements emphasizing her folk roots. “July Flame” lends itself to an acoustic setting, demonstrated by Veirs in the Portland Series video with ETL’s Edwina microphone perfectly capturing her acoustic guitar and vocals.

The Edwina microphone is ETL’s most popular model – perfect for a variety of stage duties including vocals, acoustic instruments, and drum overheads. It also shines in the studio as a warm, accurate recording microphone. For a chance to win the Edwina microphone fans are invited to watch all four videos of the Portland Series and then vote on their favorite.
