Warmth & clarity ideal for acoustic music

Just because you’re performing at home doesn’t mean people need to hear you through your smartphone’s low-quality mic. Our hand-crafted microphones are carefully tuned to convey the subtlety and authentic tone of acoustic instruments and vocal harmonies. We design our mics for clear, natural sound quality whether on a live stage, in the studio, or performing live from home.

Tuned for CONSISTENT TONE and Ease of use

Our microphones’ consistent frequency response and generous cardioid pattern make them ideal for picking up multiple sources, like your voice and guitar— or your entire trio! Flattering and natural tone even in less than perfect environments.

Tips for Using our Mics for Live Streaming & home recording

  • Make sure you have phantom power and start with a flat EQ.

  • You’ll need a way to connect the mic to your computer or phone. If streaming to a computer, any audio interface will work well. No particular preamp is required. With your phone, one inexpensive tool we’ve found that works well and provides phantom power is the iRig Pre. If you have a small mixer, you could also take that output straight into your phone input via headphone jack or Lightning converter.

  • Try test recordings in multiple places in your house and listen back carefully. You might be surprised at the acoustic difference only a few feet can make. Position can be as important as the mic that you use. Try with you back to a closet or sitting in a doorway between rooms for unexpected sonic goodness.

The Milk Carton Kids, “Wish You Were Here” recorded live with one Edwina microphone.

It’s the best microphone I have seen for streaming because it really picks up the response of the room, which is perfect for streams because artists move around during their streams and the microphone still picks it up. The frequency response seems really good for streaming as it sounds great on my laptop speakers, headphones, & even monitors. It's so smooth and gives an authentic old school look to the stream which is pretty cool as we are such on a new platform.”
